Curtain Square is a green space parkland in city of Melbourne. It is usual sight to see children play and young adults sitting and roaming around the park. It occupies 1.46 hectares and was established for recreational space in 1876. Earlier, between 1853 a 1866, this park was used as a quarry worked by convicts . This park is situated near Carlton Street, which is famous for its wide range of Italian restaurants. The park is also closer to Melbourne University.
